Site I created with Muse, hosted on Business Catalyst.Īlong with cosmetic changes, you can customize Widgets to display content the way you want. In both cases you have the option of exporting either revised content or an entire site. You can also publish directly to the Web by creating a free account with Business Catalyst, Adobe’s hosting platform. Publish and export: When your site is complete, you can export it as HTML to a folder on your Mac for upload to a server. A built-in Preview mode lets you test your site without leaving the application, and you can view the current page (or an entire site) in your Mac’s default browser with a command in the File menu. Preview: Muse offers several ways to see how your site is shaping up. A blank option lets you build your composition from scratch. Best of all, the appearance and behavior of each widget––including size, fonts, and colors, or rollover states––can be extensively customized, just like objects you create yourself.Ĭompositions: These widgets add special information (like slide presentations, news updates, or tooltips) to your site. They add dynamic features like navigation bars, slide presentations, photo galleries, and more. While Muse lacks templates, its Widgets behave like mini-templates you can drop onto pages. Organizing your site in Plan view is as easy as drag-and-drop. Muse even includes an HTML version of converted text in the Alt tag so search engines can find it. They’ll be automatically exported as image files, so your site looks correct to all visitors. Safe fonts appear in your final site as selectable text, but you can still use the others. Since the design required the traits of aesthetics and easy maintenance, the designer had intensive communications with the contractors on site, discussing how to combine the two different materials and present the delicate patterns.Web-safe text: Muse’s Font menu is divided between Web-safe fonts––like Helvetica, Georgia, and everyone’s favorite, Comic Sans––and those that aren’t. The TV wall is composed by the sliding door made of glass and wood. During the process, the construction of TV wall took rather a long time. A new sliding door was applied for the kitchen, improving ventilation, bringing in more sunlight, and changing the original closed kitchen to semi-open. Since the original four-room layout made the space cramped, the new floor plan solved the problem without large scale alterations by taking out one room, arranging a worship area with sliding doors, and replacing the original walls with window muntins. Through the refined observation of the design team, the domain characteristics were imbued with the same elegant complexion as that of the inhabitants, as the clients are able to enjoy a relaxing artistic residential environment. This project was of pure white as base tone in open and flowing domain with light grey for the elevations, complemented by exquisitely classic lining board layers, with each corner infused with paintings in shaping an elegant American styling. Their elegance inspired the design team to imbue American modern styles with exquisite classical design elements without ceding the most spacious layout, achieving an enjoyable slow-paced and relaxing lifestyle. They prefer the serenity afforded by the American way of life, with passion in artistic appreciation.
